Become a Volunteer as:

Licensed Healthcare Provider

It is through the commitment and generosity of our volunteer physicians and other licensed healthcare providers that we are able to serve our community. Becoming a volunteer is a simple process. We work with you and your availability. The volume of patients you see is determined by you. You have the option of seeing patients at the clinic location or in your own private practice office. Most specialists provide the service in their office.

If you chose to see St. John Bosco Clinic patients in your office, we work with your office staff to set up the appointments and all patients that you see will come to your office with a referral form completed by the clinic and signed by the patient.

The State of Florida offers Sovereign Immunity to volunteer licensed healthcare providers. Please click here for further information and application.

We always welcome licensed healthcare providers who want to work with us. At this time, we are in particular need for specialty care providers.

Last year our volunteer specialists provided hundreds of hours of care to our patients. On average the clinic sees over 1,300 unduplicated patients every year and offers over 4,500 primary care visits. The Clinic is open to children and adults who live in Miami - Dade County, have no other source of medical care or insurance and who are at or below the 200% Federal Poverty Level.
